Karen Sue Slusher, 77, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026.

Born in Rochester, New York, Karen lived a life centered on faith, family, and the relationships she cherished most. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with those around her.

Karen was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael S. Slusher; her father, Arthur Walters; and her mother, Doris Wood.

She leaves behind her loving son, Randall James Slusher and his wife, Diana, who will forever cherish her memory.

Karen is also survived by her siblings: Sharyn Walter, William Walters (Ellyn), Barrie Walters (Sandi), Terry Walters (Melinda), and James Walters (Brenna).

She was a proud grandmother to Lisa Brawner (Jeff), Laura Rogers (Jonathan), Lindsey Bond (Conner), Christopher Slusher, Lea Deeth, Alyssa Carr (Jason), Jesee Slusher and Jacob Orvis (Emily).

Karen was also blessed with twelve great-grandchildren who brought her tremendous joy: Trischelle Rogers, Kayla St. Martin, Dylan Rogers, Audrey Ferguson, Kennedy St. Martin, Lathan Rogers, Kane Bond, Layla Rogers, Aria Bond, Issac Deeth, Garet Deeth, and Theodore Orvis.

Karen's legacy will live on through the love she shared with her family and friends and the many memories they will hold close to their hearts.

A celebration of Karen's life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time. Karen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
