Karen Jeannette (Champion) Rude, Sgt., US Air Force, beloved wife of Thomas, passed away at age 61, on October 8, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence Champion.
She is survived by her mother, Donna Champion; her husband of 41 years, Thomas Rude; her children: Kimberlee (Jonathan) Smith, Michaela (Steven) Batteen, Justin Rude, and Krysta (Darrell) Laminack. She leaves with us 9 grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Justin, Zackary, Zoe, Haley, Elisabeth, Brianna, Aaron, and Annalea; and her siblings Lamont (Tammy) Champion of Huntington, WV; Kimberly Champion of Sterling, IL; Kevin (Jeanette) Champion, of Des Moines, IA; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at the corner of Washington Ave., from 6-8pm.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at 8:30am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 10am.
