June Evelyn Dedeaux

June Evelyn Cuevas Dedeaux, age 81, of Dedeaux, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at home with her family by her side.
Mrs. Dedeaux was born to Europe and Lucille Cuevas. She was a lifelong resident of Dedeaux and retired from Hancock County School System as a School Bus Driver. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux and although very sick, she was recently able to go to the newly constructed church to see how beautiful it is. June Evelyn always reminded her family that, ""God don't like ugly.""
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Hubert Dedeaux; her parents; children, Michael Dedeaux, Sheila Dedeaux Butler, and Garland Dedeaux; and her brother, Bruce Cuevas.
She is survived by her children, Billy Ray Dedeaux and George Dedeaux, both of Dedeaux, Paula D. Moran of Lizana, and Wendy Dedeaux of Dedeaux; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, from 6:00-10:00p.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 9:00p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 2, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux, at 10:00a.m. Friends may visit at the church two hours prior to Mass.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
