Julia "Judy" Roberts

Julia ""Judy"" Roberts, age 70, of McHenry, passed away on April 5, 2013 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Pat Harsson, and a sister, Bessie Stewart.
Judy is survived by her always loving husband of forty eight years, Charles E. ""Sonny"" Roberts of McHenry; three daughters, Kelly Burt of Prattville, AL, and Suzette Romano and Michelle Slade, both of Gulfport; one son, Steven Roberts of Starkville, MS; a sister, Orlice Miller of Wiggins; a brother, Charles ""Chuck"" Harsson of Collinsville, IL; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and her lifelong best friend, Joan Hawkins of St. Louis, MO.
Judy was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Gulfport. She worked for many years with various airline companies at the Biloxi - Gulfport International Airport. She was a member of the Xi Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International where she held all offices and was named ""Woman of the Year"" and ""Valentine Queen"".
For years, Judy's pastime was playing Bunco with her many friends. As attested by her family, she was a loving wife and mother.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, MS. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.
