Judy Carol Meadows Bonner was born July 28, 1950, at Magee, MS to parents Eugene and Willie Mae Meadows. She lived at Magee, Mendenhall, and New Hebron where she graduated High School in 1969. Married October 3, 1970, to Charles Bonner and was faithful, loving, and caring wife for 55 years 3 and 1/2 months. 

Judy became a mother to two daughters: Jennifer Nicole and Crystal Gayle; grandmother to two; Allison Nicole and Natalie Paige; and great-grandmother to Rowen Lance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Willie Mae Meadows; three brothers Jeff Meadows, Bill Meadows and Jimmy Brannon; three sisters Patsy Ruth, Ola Sullivan and Mary Russell; her mother-in-law and father-in-law LJ and Grace Bonner; and brother-in-law Levon Bonner.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Bonner; her daughters Jennifer Ferguson of Hickory and Crystal Bonner of Long Beach; two granddaughters Alli (Caden) Elliott of Little Rock and Natalie Ferguson (Landon Goss) of Hickory and her favorite Rowen her great-grandson; her sister Ruby (Ray) Williams of Philadelphia; her sisters-in-law Norma Mills of Newton, and Patsy Griffin (David) of Decatur; her brother-in-law Dallie Wayne (Belinda) Bonner of Meridian; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Judy has always had a great love of children, she was a stay at home mom, and babysitter for many years. She worked side by side with her husband in many of his jobs either in the woods when he was logging or as a pastors wife in leading Sunday school classes. In recent years she drove a school bus, worked as a bus aide and worked at the learning center with her daughter Crystal rocking babies in the nursery.  

A visitation will be 9:00am - 10:00am, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the First Baptist Church, Lizana, 17045 Carlton Cuevas Road and the funeral service will start at 10:00am. 

There will a second visitation 2:00pm - 3:00pm, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Midway Baptist Church, Newton, 1876 Old Hwy 15 Road and the funeral service will start at 3:00pm. Interment will be at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.
