Judy Hertz

Judy Anne Hertz, age 80, of Long Beach, passed away on January 15, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her her parents, Leroy and Florence Stiebing; her sisters, Mary Curlin (Curt), Theresa Stiebing; her former husband, Alton O. Hauswirth, Jr; and Margaret Pruitt (Teddy).

Survivors include her husband of 63 years John F. Hertz, Sr; her children, Belinda Hertz Clements (John), John Hertz Jr (Deidra), Lee Hertz (Betsy), Michael Hertz, and Carly Hertz Parker (Ben); a sister, Ann Stiebing Lessard (Robert); her grandchildren, Morgan Hertz, Nicholas Hertz, Kennady Hertz, Madison Clemente, Larkin Parker, Finn Parker, and Graham Parker.

Mrs. Hertz was a native of New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of Long Beach, MS.  She was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and worked for McKesson Robbins and Murphy Oil.  She was a devoted wife and mother and was an avid reader, proud supporter of the casino industry, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.  Mrs. Hertz was a hospital volunteer, Election Poll worker, and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.

The family would like to say thank you to St. Thomas Catholic Church for visiting in her home.  Thank you to St. Joseph Hospice and Comfort Keepers for their care and support. Her love and devotion for her family will be cherished and never forgotten.

A private service will be held at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, Long Beach.
