Judith Ann Smith, age 83, passed away on November 22, 2018 in Gulfport.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Smith, Sr.; son, William E. Smith, Jr.; and her parents, Charles Ward and Nellie Sheets Ward.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Reed (James); siblings, Nancy Holley, Bonnie Roland (Jim), Shirley Benson, Libbey Smith (Jr.), Rose Marie Ward; two grandchildren, Matthew Smith (Karen), Hollie Ann Reed; two great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Kjonaas, Matthew W. Smith II; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a native of Attica, IN and was a navy wife for 30 years. She enjoyed reading and family functions. She was also involved in the Boy Scouts of America.
God received another angel today. Into his loving arms she lay. She passed the way she lived: with quiet dignity and grace, a smile on her face, listening to her beloved New Orleans Saints.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport. Friends may visit 30 minutes prior to the service at the cemetery.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Arthritis Foundation, American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.
