Joyce Bradfield Shows

Joyce Bradfield Shows, age 68, of Gulfport, passed away on May 11, 2013 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest E. Bradfield; her mother, Cathern Myers Bradfield; and her brother, Robert E. Bradfield.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jim Shows of Gulfport; her three children, Scott (Kathy) Shows of Dunwoody, GA, Alan Shows of Gulfport, and Amanda (Ray) Ladner of Gulfport; her brother, Clay (Debbie) Bradfield of Ohatchee, AL; her grandchildren, Connor, Lauren, Emerson, and Carson Shows of Dunwoody, GA, and Nathan and Abbigail Ladner of Gulfport; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
Mrs. Shows was a graduate of Gulfport High in 1963, Perkinston Junior College in 1965, and a Highest Honors graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in 1995. A former president of Bel-Aire Elementary P.T.A, she also was vice president of Equitrust Mortgage Co. in Gulfport before working for Regions Mortgage in Montgomery, AL. She later retired as manager of the Regions Mortgage Operations Center in Gainesville, GA.
Mrs. Shows is a member of Nugent United Methodist Church, Gulfport.
The family would like to offer their thanks to Dr. Allison Wall, Vicky Jordan and the entire oncology team at Memorial Hospital, with special thanks to a special group, ""Breast Friends"", a true inspiration to everyone.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 9:00 AM until the service. Placement of her ashes will be scheduled at a later date in her beloved North Georgia Mountains.
