Joyce File

Joyce Jean File, age 87, and a resident of Gulfport, passed away on March 13, 2018 in Gulfport, MS.
Joyce loved to play Bingo, be on the water, and dancing. She was also a wonderful cook and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 119.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Myrtle Shugart Switzer; sister, Helen Sallis; two sons, Gregory M. File, Kelly M. File; and former spouse, August A. File.
She is survived by her son, Kevin File (Cheri) of Canyon Lake, TX; six grandchildren, Mark File, Melissa File, Matthew File, Tommy File, Sabrina N. File, Kelli Ray File; four cousins, Judy Riddle, Randy Kirkpatrick, Melinda Kelly, Terry Kirkpatrick; and one niece, Sharon Geil.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11 AM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
