Joseph William Watts

Joseph William Watts, 30, born on February 19, 1983, was called to God on May 15, 2013.
Joseph was a fun-loving young man who enjoyed crawfish boils and partying with his friends. He loved fishing and hunting, and he was devoted to his family. Joseph was a resident of Long Beach, where he went to school. He was a jack of all trades, as were his grandfathers. He did electrical work and general plumbing.
Joseph was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wesley N. and Nona Lee Watts; his maternal grandfather, Leo B. Harshbarger; and his maternal aunt, Kim Ellis.
Joseph is survived by his mother and stepfather, Maenell and Tim Kariker; his father and stepmother, Wesley L. ""Sonny"" and Linda Watts; maternal grandmother, Marie Harshbarger; two brothers, Wesley L. Watts, Jr. and Steven R. Kariker; stepsister, Gwen Bateman; stepbrother, Mike Collins; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joseph will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Youth Ministry at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
