Joseph "J.J." Seal, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 12, 2019.
J.J. was a lifelong resident of Hancock County and was a graduate of Hancock High School. He worked as a fabrication welder for the family's business, Seal Manufacturing. He loved to go fishing and cooking, and he was known as being "too smart for his own good."
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.C. and Elizabeth Marie Seal; and his maternal grandfather, Joseph Wilton Stiglet, Sr. Survivors include his children, Brittany and Bryce; his mother, Linda Ann Stiglet Seal; his father, Richard Arnold Seal, Sr. and wife Rickie; his siblings, Richard A. Seal, Jr., Jacob Scott Seal, Courtney Seal, Jared Seal and Will Sanchez; his grandchild, Paislee Bates (5th generation); his maternal grandmother, Madelyn Frosch; his dog, Buddy; and other living family members and friends.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m., Saturday, May 18th at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian. (the immediate family will have their time of visitation from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.)
A service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you bring food and refreshments to the funeral home to be shared during the visitation. Please share your memories and photos at www.riemannfamily.com
