Joseph S. Robinson

Joseph Stephen Robinson, also jubilantly known as ""Robbie"" or ""Steve"", age 72, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Marion ""Skeeter"" Robinson; his stepmother, Helen Herring Robinson; his mother, Mary Ruth Kindley; and his best K9 friend ""Bo.""
Survivors include his spouse, Jo Ann Coggins; children, Mary Helen (Mitch) Tinsley and Barbara Ann (Scott Miller) Robinson, 9 grandchildren; Trey, Jordan, Justin and Jared Coggins; Taylor, Lillian, and Stephen Cole Tinsley; Olivia and Lucas Miller; and especially his beloved pets ""Cookie"", ""Snowball"", and ""Socks"", and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Robinson enjoyed fishing, hot rods, antique cars, 50's and 60's music, electronics; and he was a master jeweler. He continued his family business, Robinson's Manufacturing Jewelers of Gulfport, into the late 1990's. He had an extraordinary and special love for animals!
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014, from 4 - 6 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be held at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel. Memorials may be sent to the Humane Society of South MS.
