Joseph ""Joe"" McVey passed away Tuesday September 1, 2015, at his home in Long Beach after a brief illness.
He lived a full and beautiful life with no regrets. He never lost his sense of joy and wonder of the world. He will be greatly missed by all who know him.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary, his daughter Pam McVey, his daughter Karen Reel and her husband John, 4 grandchildren, John, Scott, Kelley and Greg, 11 great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Hanna, Brenden, Landon, Logan, Loreina, Emmalee, Patton, Scott, Krysten, and Jalen, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 East Beach Blvd., Long Beach. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery.
