Mr. Joseph MacMillan, age 91, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 in Bay Saint Louis, MS.
He was a resident of Diamondhead and a native of Elgin, Scotland.
He served five years in the Royal British Navy and worked as a Field Superintendent for Holcroft Engineering in Livonia Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Christina and Daniel MacMillan; brother, William MacMillan and his wife, Rena; brother-in-law, Jim Bruce; father-in-law, James Durno; cousin, William Beaton and his wife, Frances.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Margaret MacMillan of Diamondhead; grandchildren, Alexandra Pullia, Anthony Pullia, Olivia Peels, Ella Zanatta; sister Margaret Bruce; brother, Daniel MacMillan and his wife, Helene; a nephew, Douglas Beaton; and nieces, Luanne Pullia and her husband Tony, Lori Zanatta and her husband Lorenzo, Caryn Janssen and her husband Bill, Cheryl Hetu and her husband Joe, Linda MacMillan and her husband Brian, Margaret Urquhart and her husband Allan.
He was an avid golfer and particularly looked forward to his "Men's Friday Group".
The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all the wonderful friends for their love and support at this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held at Diamondhead Community Church on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11 AM. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian served the family.
