Joseph "Big Joe" Lemoine

Joseph J. ""Big Joe"" Lemoine, Jr., age 60, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph J. Lemoine and Lena Lemoine; his siblings, Patricia Lemoine, Kenneth Lemoine, and Linda Meyers; and his mother-in-law, Genevieve C. Kelly.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Jody Kelly Lemoine of Perkinston, MS; his siblings, Frances Victor, Lena (Arthur) Meyers, Peggy Alphonso all of Chalmette, LA and Phyllis Bailey of Wiggins, MS; his sisters-in-law, Mary (Kim) Kelly and Tammy Kelly of Wiggins, MS; his brothers-in-law, Danny Kelly of Wiggins, MS, Robert (Jen) Kelly of Slidell, LA, Joe (Lanein) Kelly of St. Bernard, LA and Adam Meyers; the crew from the Whistlestop Café; numerous nieces and nephews and his Chihuahua, JuJu.
Joseph was a school resource officer with the Stone County Sherriff Department and worked in the Wiggins School System where he touched the lives of many young children. He was calm natured, lovable and had a big heart. Joseph will be missed by his family and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, Chalmette, LA.
