Joseph Gurneck, Jr.

Joseph Martin Gurneck, Jr. age 83, of Long Beach, MS, passed away on August 7, 2021.

Joseph was born in Pittsburg, PA, and a resident of Long Beach, MS.  He received his associate degree in Industrial Electronics, associate degree in Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.  Joseph served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard.  He worked at Litton Industries, Rockwell International, DuPont and Lockheed Martin.

Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Gurneck.

Mr. Gurneck is survived by his 4 children, Joseph P. Gurneck (Prisicella), of Long Beach, MS, Daniel H. Gurneck of Gulfport, MS, Donald J. Gurneck of Long Beach, MS, and Catherine G. Johnson (David) of Long Beach, MS; his grandchildren, Jacob Parker, Jesse Parker, Dylan Johnson, Joseph Gurneck, Shanice Gurneck, Dovavan Gurneck, and Courtney Gurneck; and his grandchildren, Jaycie Parker, Jessa Parker and Adrian Gurneck.
