Joseph William Cannon, III

Joseph William Cannon, III, age 77 of Gulfport, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023.

Joseph was a retired police officer for the VA. He enjoyed riding with the Blue Knights, watching Fox News, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. He loved spending time with his cherished grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Brenda Cannon; children, Brad (Jennifer) Cannon, Bobby Cannon, and Tracey Yarington; grandchildren, Bradley, Dale, Hunter, William, Cody, Jada, Pyper; great grandchildren, Oliver, Elysabeth, Robbie, Kayden, Hayden, and Jasper; sister, Rachel Williams, of Eufaula, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes, his cremated remains will be scattered in Anniston, Alabama at a later date.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, is serving the family.
