Johnny Williams

Johnny Floyd Williams, age 60, of Gulfport, passed away on July 12, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie M. Williams; his father, Floyd T. Williams; two nephews, Richard (Richie) Perrone and Daniel Hickman; and a great nephew Caleb Hickman.

Mr. Williams is survived by his best friend and mother of his children, Cheryl Culberson; best friend Tina Williams Hanson; his siblings Geraldine Campbell (Bobby); Carol Perrone (Ricky); Wayne Williams (Judy); Mitchell Williams (Theresa); and Vicky Hickman; a son, Johnny Lee Williams (BJ); a daughter, Cossondra Malicoat (Johnny); a stepdaughter Tania Brady (Tom); grandchildren, Kaitlynn Dumal, Bryant Dumal, Krista Dumal, Ryan William Nolan, Nathan Aaron Nolan, Dakota Lee Nolan; one great-granddaughter, Isla Caudill, and many nieces and nephews.

Johnny was very well known to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He attended Harrison County Schools and was a member of the Baptist faith community.  He was the owner/operator of Williams Fence Company for 35 years. Johnny had a great love for children and his family. He thoroughly enjoyed deep sea fishing and spending time with his family. Johnny never met a stranger; to know him was to love him. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. If you wish to honor the life of Johnny Williams, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
