Johnnie Celeste Smith, 73, went to be with our Heavenly Father and her husband, Leodis Smith on Saturday, November 9, 2013.
She was born on January 15, 1940 and was a life-long resident of Bay St. Louis, MS. She was a member of the Shoreline Park Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leodis Smith; her dad, Bruce Parker; her step-father, Clyde Edward Page; her brothers James and John Parker; and a sister Linda Malley.
Johnnie is survived by her mother, Edna Mae Page; 7 children, Karen (James) Burkes; Ricky (Roxy) Smith, Beverly (Greg) Zimek, Regina Decrevel, Rhonda (Sid) LeBlanc, Dexter (Melissa) Smith, and Dennis (Georganne) Smith; her sisters, Cora Crosby and Jane Austin; her brother, Joe (Glenda) Parker; her sisters-in law, Geraldine (Junior) Spiers, Geraldine Smith and Janice Stockstill; 22 grandchildren, Angela (Tito) Amoguis , Michael (Christy) Burkes, Jeremy (Summer) Burkes; Angelle Smith (Dusty) Carver, Richie Smith; Tamica and Jonci Aguillard; Christy Caldwell, Nick (Kristen) Caldwell, Heather Zimek (Jason Nielsen); Shawn (Kristen) Decrevel , Jennifer Decrevel (Jake) Borja; Danielle (Colby Adam) & Dylan LeBlanc; Joshua, Tanner (Maci Torres), Brady, Griffin & Josey Smith. 19 great-grand-grandchildren, Cierra, Cliff & Grace Atchley; Lauren, Mikala, Baylie, Michael Jr and Jackson Burkes; Samuel Burkes; Maggie Carver; Camdyn Smith, Darion McElveen, Conner Caldwell, Jeremiah (JT) and Olivia Caldwell; Kyleigh Decrevel, Brooklyn & Madelyn Borja and Arleigh Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian with a visitation for family and friends from 11:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Breland Cemetery in Anner, MS.
