Johnnie Hamilton Etterle

Johnnie H. Etterle, Jr., age 65 and a resident of Perkinston, MS passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 in Picayune, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Johnnie Etterle; and his sister, Alice Chilton-Foss.
Johnnie is survived by his wife of 34 years, Kathy Jo Etterle; his sons, Benjamin Etterle, Stephen Etterle, and Eric Noth; and his sister, Cheryl Ciresa.
He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and worked with CALIBRE at Red River Army Depot in New Boston, TX. Johnnie loved NASCAR, working on cars and woodworking. He was of the Baptist faith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or the Humane Society (www.humanesociety.org).
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road, Pass Christian, MS, beginning at 4:00 p.m., until the Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. with full Military Honors.
