TSgt John H. Walters, USAF, Ret., age 77, of Biloxi, passed away on May 21, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna L. Walters, and a son, James M. Walters.
Survivors include his children, John R. Walters, and Janet L. Watkins and her husband, Lloyd, a grandson, Joshua M. Watkins, 2 brothers, James Harvey, and Michael Walters, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Walters served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and Vietnam War and later retired after 22 years of service. After retirement, he worked as an electrician at the SeaBee Base and the Armed Forces Retirement Home. He was a volunteer and served as vice president of the Memorial Hospital at Gulfport Auxiliary and was a member of Woolmarket Baptist Church.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, from 10:30 am - 11:30 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi. The funeral service will be at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Memorial Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 1510, Gulfport, MS 39502.
