John A. Penn Jr, 52, of Jackson County passed away July 25, 2015. He was a member of Gautier Church of God. He was a ""pops"" to many as he opened his home to all who needed anything.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenny and Ruby Huff and Ava and Alvin Penn; father in law, Lamar Tindle; and brothers in law, Stanley Carroll and Steve Purvis.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Penn; children Jacob Penn, Kenny Penn, Cassey Phillips, and Shaun Belcher (etc... For those who called him pops); 2 granddaughters, Anabel and Reanna; his mother and step-father, Joyce Harrelson and David Harrelson; his father, John Penn Sr.; mother in law, France's Jones (Dan); his siblings, Cheryl Ryan ( Raymond), Donna Chaney, Barbara Stacey, James Penn (Wendy), David Harrelson( Donna), Kay Tindle, Lamar Tindle ( Deborah), Prentiss Tindle and Denise Tindle; 28 nieces and nephews, and 29 great nieces and nephews.
A funeral procession will leave RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, corner of Lemoyne Blvd and Washington Ave., Ocean Springs, MS at 5:00PM to Gautier Church of God, 5209 Gautier Vancleave Rd., Gautier, MS 39553, with services also open to the public at 6pm at the church.
