MSGT John H. McCarty, USAF, Ret., age 73, of Gulfport, passed away on July 4, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tiny McCarty, his parents, Russell W. and Valeda Long McCarty, his siblings, Harlen Stover, Susie White, and Dale McCarty.
Survivors include his children, Tony (Heather) McCarty, and Brian McCarty, his siblings, Jack (Pat) McCarty, Beverly (Richard) Mainville, Ron (Marleen) McCarty, and Don (Kathleen) McCarty, 4 grandchildren, Tyler McCarty, Brennan McCarty, Georgia Stewart, and Alyssa Davis, a special niece, Georgia (Charles) Rogers, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014, from 6 - 8 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 10 am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Shriners Children's Hospital.
