We lovingly remember and honor the life of our father, husband, and grandfather, John Howard Lalley, who passed away at the age of 84, resident of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
John shared 52 years of marriage with his devoted wife. Together they created a home filled with hard work, laughter and family values that guided his life and will continue to live through those he loved.
A lifelong mechanic by trade, he proudly served the Village of Riverton for 25 years, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to help wherever needed. After retiring, he continued to serve his community by working an additional 11 years with the Riverton School District, never one to sit still and always finding purpose in contributing to others.
He was a man of quiet strength, integrity, and dedication. Someone who believed in showing up every day, doing honest work, and taking care of his family above all else. His hands told the story of a life spent working hard, providing faithfully, and giving selflessly.
John was preceded in death by loved ones Richard and Marie Pardee, Jack Lalley, and Jim Lalley.
He is survived by his wife, Trudy Lalley; his children, Andy and Pam Lalley, Rick Lalley, Danny and Beth Lalley, Gary and Jennifer Newell, Candy Walker, Shawn and Alex Morales, Krystle Norman and Charlie Avondet; grandchildren, Sean and Mary Cates Lalley, Brandy and Wade Johnson, Darren and Canonblue Lalley, AJ and Stacey Lalley, Kayla and Landon Pugh, Garrett and Kristen Newell, Haylee and Abigail Morales, Aubrey Walker, Kyra Norman, Clarissa Walker, Derek Norman, and Ebin Norman; and great grandchildren, Remington Cates Lalley, Trent Newell, Ryleigh and Kolbie Walker, Khloe Gill, Keegan Lalley, Kai Pugh, and Lucas Newell.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the community he served, and the countless lives he touched along the way.
