John C. Dunaway

TSgt John C. Dunaway, USAF, Ret, age 72, of Woolmarket, passed away on December 2, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, X.L. and Alice Dunaway.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie Faye Dunaway, 5 children, Tracy Dunaway, John C. ""Jay"" Dunaway, Jr., Tina Ellen Dunaway, Sarah Emily Davis, and Kendall Bryant Davis, former spouse and business partner, Ginger Dunaway, a sister, Shelby Byrd, a brother, Robert A. ""Bo"" (Carolyn) Dunaway, 3 grandchildren, Dakota Taylor, Trevor Leuenberger, and Kailei Davis, a special aunt, Fannie McMichael, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Dunaway served in the U.S. Army and later retired as a Tech Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. After retiring from Civil Service, he owned and operated Dunaway Signs and was a member of Woolmarket Baptist Church, Joe Graham American Legion Post 119, and Gulfport Elks Lodge 978. Mr. Dunaway enjoyed fast cars, fast boats, and fast motorcycles.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 4, 2016, from 2 - 3 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Woolmarket Baptist Church, 12816 Lorraine Road, Biloxi, MS 39532.
