John ""Dutch"" Darsam, III, 70, of Waveland, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 in Bay St. Louis.
Dutch was preceded in death by his parents, John Darsam, Jr. and Dorothy Dardenne Darsam. Survivors include his wife of nine years, Audrey Darsam of Waveland; two sons, Travis Darsam (Shannon) of Baton Rouge, LA and Michael Darsam (Chrissy) of Franklinton, LA; two siblings, Susan Wallick of Waveland and Richard Darsam of Thailand; grandchildren, Dalton Darsam and Blake Darsam; step-children, Daniel Ladner (Britany) and Sara Ladner (Myles Warren), both of Pass Christian; step-grandchildren, Connor, Lily, Gabe, Brailynn, Brinton, Mycanton, Carter and Laine; and other loving family and friends at the Rusty Rail Tavern.
Dutch was a native of New Orleans and had been a resident of Waveland for 15 years. He retired as a New Orleans Police Officer and also worked as Director of Security at the Hyatt in New Orleans, and was a security officer at Casino Magic, Bay St. Louis, the Grand Casino, Gulfport, and at the Hancock County Welcome Center. Dutch loved fishing and drinking his Miller High Life. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 19, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian. The funeral procession will leave at 2:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Waveland Cemetery.
