John Courtney

John Anderson Courtney III passed away on August 13, 2017 at his home in D 'Iberville, MS.
He was born on July 16, 1955 in Mobile, AL, the son of Patricia Morrison and John Anderson Courtney Jr. He took great pride in working as a Master Plumber the majority of his life. He was a free spirit who loved to spend time with friends and family, fishing on back bay, and reading books.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Morrison; daughters, Carrie Courtney and Sierra Courtney; sister, Debbie Cooner; grandchildren, Emma Doss, Evan Garrison, Leif Courtney Garrison, and Harper Garrison; nieces, Misty Weathersby, Sunny Wilkerson, and Stormy Carbonel.
He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Candie Christon Courtney; father, John Anderson Courtney Jr.; and his favorite dog "Tipsy."
Special thank you to Frances Ford who loved him unconditionally for the past 20 years. You were always by his side encouraging him to be his best during sickness and in health.
Thank you to Riemann's Funeral Home for assisting our family during this difficult time. John's wishes were to be cremated and to be remembered by his loved ones of the good times shared together. His life will be celebrated in private. There will not be a funeral service.
