John Calvert, age 57, of Diamondhead, passed away on June 8, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Calvert.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Davis Calvert, father, William G. Calvert, Jr., a brother, William G. Calvert, III, 2 sisters, Carol Furtak and Jane Mayo, a special nephew and niece, Jesse and Angela Calvert, and other nieces and nephews, and a special puppy ""Sassy.""
He was employed as a service manager at DeRussy Motors for many years. He was an avid shooter, kayaker, and enjoyed bicycling.
A memorial service will be at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Diamondhead, at 6 pm on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507, or the St. Thomas Episcopal Church Discretionary Fund, 5303 Diamondhead Circle, Diamondhead, MS 39525.
