Obituary

John Harrison “Buck” Robuck passed away February 4, 2026. John was born in Lyman, South Carolina on May 4, 1934 to Charles and Elizabeth Robuck. The family moved to Georgia soon after his birth. Buck lived and died a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket.

Buck was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and enjoyed his time as a recruiter. The best thing that happened to him while in the Marines was meeting the love of his life, Gail Morrow, “the prettiest thing I had ever seen”. Buck and Gail married and spent nearly 70 years together. He was preceded in death by Gail, their infant son David, granddaughter Shannon, and brother Homer.

He is survived by his children John (Ramona), Steve (Sonia), Madolyn (Jan), and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Buck was loved by many, especially his neighbors and gym and breakfast buddies. The family would like to thank Tom Freeman and Kevin Berdine for taking such good care of Buck especially after Gail’s passing.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, is honored to serve the family during this time.
