John Allen Bourque, Sr., 85, of Gulfport, passed away August 14, 2014 at his residence in Gulfport. His final days were comfortable and peaceful, thanks to CANON HOSPICE. Stephanie and Lisa were a blessing.
He was recently preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Faye Bourque; son, John Allen Bourque, Jr.
He is survived by his children, Steve Bourque (Kathy) of Biloxi; son, Dennis Bourque of Gulfport; daughter, Joni Cox (Jerry) of McHenry; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00am from St. Joseph Catholic Church, where family and friends may visit thirty minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
