John W. Arendt, age 82, of Gulfport, MS passed away on October 25, 2009 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward E. Arendt and Florence Frances Wolfe Arendt.
He is survived by wife, Carole McKeever Arendt, of Gulfport; three children; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two brothers.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U. S. Coast Guard, a Ex POW, and a Purple Heart recipient. He was a Naval Architect.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 2:30 PM at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
