John Haigh "Dirty John" Des Angles

John Haigh ""Dirty John"" Des Angles, age 81, of Kiln, passed away on September 22, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Paul and Marie Haigh Des Angles, and his daughter, Susan Des Angles.
Dirty John is survived by his wife of 33 years, Danielle H. Des Angles of Kiln; his children, Sandra (Mike) Russell of Waveland, Tony Inks of Kiln, Dorothy (Steve) Baker of Mesquite, TX, and Charles (Maria) Des Angles of Kiln; grandchildren, Karryl Clark, Darryl (Bethany) Russell, Kaila Des Angles, Keith Gilbert, and Johnathan Baker; great grandchildren, Maci Clarke, Madison Clarke, Michelle Clarke, Dakota Russell, Cameron Favre, Landon Moran, and Braelynne Russell.
Born in New Orleans, LA, he was known to most as ""Dirty John"" and to some as the ""Mayor of Fenton."" He had a true entrepreneurial spirit. He painted houses, worked in the real estate business, and sold a little bit of everything...eggs, rabbits, crabs, bait, etc. Along with being an enthusiastic New Orleans Saints fan, he enjoyed cooking and visiting. Dirty had a great sense of humor and a deep love for life, which he enjoyed to its fullest. You were always welcome at his home, and he was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015, from 6:00pm-9:00pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Kiln-Delisle Rd., Pass Christian. On Saturday, September 26, 2015, a procession will leave the funeral home at 10:50 am going to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Pass Christian, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
