Joey Earl "Pops" Threadgill

Mr. Joey Earl ""Pops"" Threadgill, 59, formerly of Gulfport, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in Wiggins.
Mr. Threadgill was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Reed and his father, George Threadgill. Survivors include his two daughters, Starr and Cassandra Threadgill, both of Gulfport; 6 grandchildren, Olivia, Alexis, James, Jaylyn, Victoria and Christopher Tyler; and his 5 siblings, Dianne Dye (Dewey) of McHenry, Timmy Threadgill (Faye) of McHenry, George Threadgill Jr., (Rosemary) of Saucier, Ricky Threadgill (Julie) of McHenry and Steven Threadgill of Gulfport.
Mr. Threadgill was a wonderful and loving father, grandfather and brother, and loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He was kind-hearted and he befriended anyone he met, always helping others. He loved motorcycles, racing cars, cooking, watching football, and shooting darts and pool.
There will be a Memorial Gathering on Friday, October 23rd from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com.
