Joel Lamar Mallette, age 58, lifelong resident of Saucier, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, in Houston, TX.
Mr. Mallette graduated from Harrison Central High School and was a pipeline welder with local 798. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Bettie Joyce Mallett, and his brother, Douglas.
He is survived by his beloved Christine; his children, Travis Mallette (Lindsey) of Saucier, and Candis Mallett of Saucier; and grandchildren, Ace, Braeden, Zane, and Camden; and his extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 6-9pm.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Ramsey Creek Baptist Church at 11am. Friends may visit one hour prior at the church.
Burial will be in Ramsey Creek Cemetery.
