Joel "Butch" Conley, age 65, lifelong resident of the Coast, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
Mr. Conley was born in Saucier, MS and served in the United States Army.  He attended Alcorn State University where he played football.  He worked at the NCBC for over 37 years at the commissary as one of the store managers.  In his spare time, he was an avid hunter.
He was preceded in death by parents, Mark and Ethel Conley, and Carrie Scott; and his brother, Nathaniel Parrish.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jennie Conley; daughters, Tawanda Humphrey and Michelle (Robert) Robertson; sons, Keith (Deidre) Humphrey, Joseph Watson, Carlos Watson, and Omar (Tashara) Watson; 21 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and one Goddaughter, Michele Barber.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 12 o'clock Noon.  The family will arrive at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 15489 Dedeaux Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
