Joycelyn Portie

Mrs. Joycelyn Portie, a beloved Christian mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 6, 2025, at the age of 89.

She was a woman of deep faith, gentle strength, and unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Kim, and son-in-law, Audie; her grandchildren, Steve(Caitlin), Roni, Jon(Jen), Shannon(Eric); and her great-grandchildren, Maddie(Deston), Nick, Stone, Mack James, Tripp, Ava, Grace, Loren, and Billy; and great-great-grandson Walker. She cherished each of them and prayed for them daily.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her warm spirit, and her steadfast devotion to Christ. She loved her gardening, her cooking, her sewing, and her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her family rejoices in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord alongside her loving husband.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 KIln- DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian, MS 39571. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
