Joann B. Shaw, age 77, of Mobile, AL, formerly of Gulfport, passed away on August 14, 2016 in Mobile, AL.
Joann was an avid painter. She was also a long time member at Burton Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Charles Shaw; and two sisters, Juanita Barnes and Monie Neal.
Her survivors include her son, Thomas C. Shaw and wife Merritt of Mobile, AL; three brothers, Harrold Bowers of St. Mary's, GA, Jimmy Bowers of St. Mary's, GA, Johnny Bowers of Kokomo, IN; and two sisters, Frances Sandak of Lorraine, OH, and Peggy Doxey of Troy Ohio.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 1:30 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Gulf Pines Cemetery. An online guestbook may be viewed and memories shared at www.riemannfamily.com
