JoAnn Peterson, age 80 of Long Beach, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022.
She was a native of Turkey Creek, Florida and retired as Secretary of several catholic churches on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. Peterson; her mother, Amanda Hicks; her father, Ladder Farkas; and her sister, Ruthie Hicks.
She is survived by her children, Anthony J. Peterson and Janice M. Peterson; and her siblings, Larry Farkas, Helen King, Diane Hicks, and Carolyn Sharkas.
Joann enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, crocheting, and quilting.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, with a visitation from 10:00 AM until the service.
