Joan T. Souser, age 85, a resident of Gulfport, passed away September 14, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. David H. Souser, US Army, Retired; her parents, William and Ruth Aul Thompson; her sons, David W. Souser, II, Carl Louis Souser, Stephen Gerard Souser; her granddaughter, Jacquelyn Ruth Souser; great grandson, Antonio Mercado; and her sister, Alice Joan Kane.
Joan is survived by her son, Paul-John Souser of Gulfport.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gulfport.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gulfport at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Vincent DePaul, c/o St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12290 Depew Rd., Gulfport, MS 39503.
