Jo Richard

Hilda “Jo” Richard, 78 of Woolmarket, gained her wings on December 17, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones.  She was born on May 7, 1945 in Gulfport, MS to the late Victor & Catherine “Kitty” Herringon.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Jo enjoyed being in the outdoors and caring for her yard and garden.  She was a hard working and devoted person.  Jo was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She had a love for taking care of her family and especially her grandchildren and dog “Henry”.  Jo will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jo is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Jerry W. Richard; sons, Victor  Savage, and Charles (Jamie) Richard; daughter, Tiffany (Kenny) Thibodeaux all of Woolmarket, MS; grandchildren, Amanda Kringle, Zachary Rushing, Joseph Richard, Blaine (Starla) Savage, and Cheyenne (William) Hudson; sister, Kay Lambert, and Vicki Pyle..  Jo also leaves behind to cherish her memory , 4 great grandchildren, and a host of friends and extended family.

The family of Jo would like to give a sincere gracious thanks to the staff at Deaconess Home Health for all of their love and support during this time.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Coalville United Methodist Church (12298 Shorecrest Rd, Biloxi).  Her Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm at Coalville United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Coalville Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Church Fellowship Hall.
