Jo Dastugue

Jo Ann Marie Dastugue, age 75, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Hattiesburg, MS. She was a resident of New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Jo Ann was a very special lady who dearly loved her family, watching old movies and an occasional "Sherry" every now and then. Jo Ann wore a beautiful smile, even though she faced many struggles throughout her life. She brought much joy to her extended family including many cousins and grand nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the late Betty Travis Whidbee who loved and watched over her for many years. Jo Ann will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcel Fredrick Dastugue and Nell Rose McWhirter Dastugue.
She is survived by her brother, Marcel "Butch" F. Dastugue, III; nephews, Michael Patrick Dastugue and Marc Fredrick Dastugue; niece, Elizabeth "Betsy" Dastugue Wendler.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in New Orleans, LA.
