Jimmy Torjusen

Jimmy “Turk” Torjusen, age 77, of Gulfport, passed away on December 13, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Torjusen; parents, Louise Compretta and Robert Torjusen; and brother, Larry Torjusen.

He is survived by his daughter, Tracey Torjusen Benton (Wayde); a brother, Bobby Torjusen; a sister, Martha Moudy; 2 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Benton Parkinson (Tripp) and Cameron Benton; 2 great-grandchildren, Dru Parkinson and Kash Parkinson; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Torjusen was an avid outdoorsman and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, from 9 – 10 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport.  The funeral service will be at 10 am in the chapel.  Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
