Jimmy Roy Moran, Jr., age 53, of Gulfport, passed away on December 18, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Roy Moran, Sr. and Patricia Ann Moran and his beloved dog "Spike."
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Lynn Moran, 1 daughter, Brandy (Dylan) Bush, 2 sisters, Theresa (Larry Saucier) Hydrick, and Debbie Moran, a sister-in-law, Robin Patterson, 8 nieces and nephews, Renee (Ricky) Hasty, Rischelle (Jonathan) Morgan, Kristopher (Robin) Hydrick, Kristy (Morgan) Young, Melissa (Greg) Graham-Taylor, Bailey Hays, William Hays, and Lane Patterson, his faithful puppy, "Dawg", and other relatives and friends.
Jimmy was the owner/operator of Orlando Auto Trans, Inc. and he enjoyed his fast cars, boating, and animals.
The Moran family would like to say a special Thank You to Doctors Mckee and Pitre for their extraordinary care; and also to Mrs. Dorothy Dunning and the wonderful staff of SAAD Healthcare and Hospice for their very compassionate care of our loved one.
Per Jimmy's wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. The family will hold a private celebratory memorial for close family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
