Jimmy W. Johnson

Jim W. Johnson, 78, died peacefully Tuesday, November 25, surrounded by family and friends.
""Jimmy"" was born January 21, 1936 in Noxapater, MS to William and Annette Johnson.
Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Yvonne Johnson, of Long Beach, MS; two daughters: Cindy Johnson, of Monterey, CA and Teri Johnson, of Long Beach, MS; three grandchildren: Jeffrey Graham, of New York, NY, David Solomon, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Rebecca Jordan, of Japan; and two great-grandchildren: Ellie of Colorado Springs, CO and Ruby of Japan.
Jim graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Business; and, was a Real Estate Broker and owner and operator of Bell Realty in Long Beach for over 40 years. Jim also proudly served his country after enlisting in the US Navy.
Jim will be most remembered, to all who knew him, for his warm demeanor, southern charm and his passion for telling a good joke. Most memorably, ""Jimmy"" NEVER met a stranger.
Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2014 between 10:00 a.m. and noon at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach with the funeral service beginning at noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Long Beach Senior Citizens Center, 228-868-7517; PO Box 929 Long Beach, MS 39560.
