Jimmie J. Robison, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
He is survived by his four children, Rodney, Jannie, Nancy and James; and eight grandchildren.
He was born in Oklahoma City, Ok on November 6, 1933. At the age of 18, Jimmie joined the Air Force and dedicated the next 31 years to the service of our country. He traveled around the world with is wife Yasuko, and his children until 1977, when they settled in Gulfport. His second career was spent with Hancock Bank as the ""building maintenance guy"". After a second retirement, He spent his early retirement relaxing and traveling to see his children, and later dedicated his time to caring for his wife who died a vicitm of Alzheimer's in 2009.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 1st at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer Foundation be made.
