Jimmie Lee Pate, Sr., 76, of Mobile, AL passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in Biloxi, MS.
Mr. Pate was a native of Brighton, AL, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving 14 honorable years. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his son, Edward James Pate.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of 57 years; five children, Jimmy Lee Pate, Jr., David Carl Pate, Bonnie Jean Riviere, Jacob Lee Pate, and Christine Lucinda Simmons; ten grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Walker (Jimmy) and Annie Giddens; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to visit from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Biloxi. The procession will depart the funeral home at 2:10 p.m. for the graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
