~~Jimmie E. Neely, age 86, of Gulfport, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 in Jackson.
He was retired from United States Air Force with 23 years of service. He was also retired from the Gulf Coast Veterans Administration.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Kay Neely and Jaciel Byrd Neely; sister, Kathleen Neely; son-in-law, David Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Christine Plundrich Neely of Gulfport; four daughters, Rosemarie Bradshaw (Gerald) of Austin, TX, Janett Blain (James) of Gulfport, Marion Smith of Carrollton, GA, and Joann Ritchie (Gary) of Maumelle, AR; son, Jimmy Neely (Kim) of Brandon, MS; six grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM Thursday, November 9, 2017 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. A visitation will begin at 1:00PM until service time at the funeral home. A burial with military honors will take place at 9:00AM Friday, November 10, 2017 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
