Jim Daniels

MSgt Hugh James "Jim" Daniels, U.S. Air Force, Ret., age 86, of Long Beach, passed away on February 4, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Mart and Rosalie Daniels.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ruby E. Daniels; Michael (Melissa) Daniels, Sandra (Marice) Stevison, Brenda (Tracy) Wagner, Gary (Deborah) Daniels, and Kimberly (Paul) Sylvia; 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Daniels retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean War and Vietnam War. He also retired after 30 years of service from the U. S. Postal Service as a letter carrier. Mr. Daniels was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church where he served as the "official photographer" during the rebuilding effort.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd., Long Beach. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 am in the church. Burial will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 720 E Beach Blvd, Long Beach, MS 39560.
