Jill Gary Eure, 48, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on October 25, 2025, after a courageous five-year battle with Multiple Myeloma.
Born on June 6, 1977, in Biloxi, Mississippi, Jill was the beloved daughter of Mr. David Gary and his wife Janis Gary, and Ms. Ann Gary. She was a proud graduate of Biloxi High School, Class of 1995, and earned her degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1999.
Jill worked at the University of Southern Mississippi’s Gulf Coast Research Laboratory, where she worked as a communications officer. Her professionalism, compassion, and positive spirit touched everyone she worked with.
Above all, Jill found her greatest joy in being a mother. Her love for her children and family was unwavering and defined the way she lived her life.
Jill is survived by her loving husband, Casey Eure; her children, Kennedy and Gunner; her father, Mr. David Gary, and stepmother, Janis Gary; her mother, Ms. Ann Gary (Johnny Thomas); her sisters, Shelli Mohan (John) and Patti Guice (Billy); her in-laws, Grandmother Janelle Hibbard (Charles), mother-in-law Michelle Pryor (Eddie) and father-in-law John Eure; her sister-in-law, Lindsey Pryor; brother-in-law Cody Eure; nieces, Peyton McGill (Tanner), Julia Guice, Haleigh Wilson, Victoria Wilson, and Chloe Guthrie; nephews, Cade Mohan and Riggs Guice; and her beloved dogs, Marlie and Jax.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elizabeth Gollott Skrmetta, Edgar Gollott, Walter Gary Sr., Margaret Keadle Gary, Larry Gallotte, Dennis Eure, Mary Frances Eure and Larry Parks.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church Biloxi, MS, followed by Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Monsignor Dominick Fullam at 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Coalville Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi, immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization close to Jill’s heart.
The family extends a special thank you to Ms. T, Jill’s devoted caregiver, for her compassion and support throughout Jill’s illness.
Jill will be remembered for her strength, sense of humor, faith, and endless love for her family. Her legacy of kindness and courage will live on in all who knew her. Her deep love for the Lord guided her life, and she now rests peacefully in God’s loving arms.
