Jewis Emma "Head" Boone

Jewis Emma (Head) Boone, 96, loving mother and meemaw, of Long Beach, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. She was a long-time member of the Eastern Star.
She was born on February 1, 1919 in Wiggins, Mississippi to the late William and Eran (Bond) Head. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Jack Boone; son, Robert Boone; siblings, Vertie Mae Prestwood and Ezra Head.
Jewis is survived by her daughter, Jackie Beech (Rob); sister, Hazel Scott; grandsons, Brian Beech (Kimberly), Christopher Beech; great-granddaughters, Emma Kate and Abby.
Contributions in Jewis' memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 6pm-8pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015, at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Long Beach City Cemetery.
